The Academy of the Sacred Heart - Archives

I just finished a 3 part mural at my Alma Mater and loved every minute of it!

This school was the first free school West of the Missouri, established in 1818.

Staggered down the stairwell and at the base of the steps, each mural depicted buildings at different stages of its campus history from 1818 to 1865. They, also, featured a related quotation. Both quotes and buildings were painted on faux on parchment letters. You can see these in the murals-commercial category.

Working under the shrine of a Saint was quite a humbling experience!

If you ever get to St. Charles, Missouri... stop in ----------and say a prayer for me!
